So just uncheck the Fast Startup option and it does not do that anymore.

Philosophy is just knowing how to think well. It is useful in almost every business that needs to conceptualize or problem solve.
The cassette one is fine, but I wouldn’t trust that discman.
That CD needs to spin
And then you get blamed when it breaks, so they switch back to what they know and use a ready-made solution from Microsoft with full 24/7 support package.
Because it is more important for it to work reliably and be fixed quickly, than for it to not be proprietary or not made by some evil corporation.
Downtime costs money.
I know Linux can be extremely reliable, but they rarely have all the bells and whistles that Microsoft offers and are rarely compatible with all the other software they are already using.
Having multiple different systems overlapping also adds overhead.
So I doubt you will be able to convince many like that. It is easy looking at it from a tech perspective, but they don’t make those decisions.
I expected him to cheat openly, by like just blackmailing and incredible violence.
Which is fixed after just reinstalling the driver …
If a game isn’t sold on Steam, It isn’t going to sell well.
Because of the huge amount of Valve fanboys who only buy games if they are on Steam.
Games on other stores might as well not exist.
And more, if a game even dares to launch on a different store, it would garner unfavour of all those Valve fanboys and hurt their sales even if afterwards it does launch on Steam.
It is a user enforced monopoly.
Valves business strategy is called something close to a monopoly.
People hated on 7 and said the same thing about XP.
Good things we aren’t flies then.
Because if we were, shit would be the shit and you would be eating it as well.
It is only because we are human that we think of shit as something negative.
Indeed, it is a Windows meme.
Like 90% of memes here on Linuxmemes
If it was always shit, it wouldn’t be so popular.
Enlighten me.
Is it Zorin?
Have you guys decided which distro is the ready one?
Ok, but what if the problem was that you didn’t like the door color and you weren’t allowed to paint it because of your landlord.
Are you still going to move your entire life to a different location?
Most problems on the Microsoft forums aren’t going to explode their computers.
So what you are saying is that if someone has a problem with Linux, replying with “just install Windows” is a valid fix?
You “fixed” the issue by giving them 10 more problems.
Are you also giving them alternatives to all the software they use daily that isn’t compatible with Linux?
What if they have hardware that is incompatible? Like Nvidea and certain printers?
You are essentially telling them to rip out everything and start anew. Which just isn’t feasible or even necessary when they just have one problem.
So no, you did not fix anything.
Does it solve whatever Windows problem they were having?
No? Then it is not helpful.
It is like asking for help to fix a hole in your pants, and someone replies with “just buy a skirt”.
I’ve replied to someone having a problem with Linux to just install Windows. It is the exact same useless vibe.
The only way Linux ever becomes viable for the mainstream is when there is a single distribution that covers every feature and is as streamlined and user friendly as possible.
So until even you guys can agree on one distribution being the best, it will not be the year of the Linux ever.–
Or just disable the Fast Startup option
