minus-squaretoynbee@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up9·4 days agoIf you’re changing the ownership of a file to a user and that user’s primary group, you can just do chown username: file. (Not that the lemmy group is guaranteed to be the default group of the lemmy user, but I’m guessing… )
