The law is NOT the “only thing holding us back from killing each other”. There isn’t some crowd of killers ready to go, but oh shucks they just respect the law way too much. What a ridiculous notion. If the law prevented us from killing each other then nobody would ever kill anyone.
The thing is, research and learning is itself a skill that must be learned, and they don’t teach critical thinking skills in school. Without an occasional friction-laden experience of figuring something out by trial and error, you won’t ever learn HOW to learn, and I think that’s the thing people get hung up on here. It not “younger ppl be stupid” its just literally “younger people are generally exhibiting less and less critical thinking skills year over year”.

THIS right here is the key factor here that I think people are missing. Learning is a skill and many people no longer have that skill
You can feel how you want, but the water burden thing is just factually incorrect. A pound of beef uses a LOT more water to raise than a pound of lentils. Or are you forgetting that you also have to use water to grow the stuff that the cow eats?
