  • I looked into this recently - microwave ovens emit an electromagnetic frequency due to the power coursing through them that’s very useful for tracking time, so that is why they usually have clocks. The problem is, the frequency is dependent on the power it receives, and mains voltage fluctuates. For example, those in a UK household may have heard that mains voltage is 240V. In reality this is 230-250V (reference below). The clock running a slight bit faster indicates a higher trending voltage than the microwave was rated for.

    • My microwave is rated for 230-240V and has a frequency of 2450MHz.

Human suffering is caused in part by overpopulation (as is the suffering of all creatures - we are invasive, destructive and afflicted with a superiority complex) and in part by religious indoctrination, so while you procreate, as long as you don’t force offspring into a single and restrictive belief system, I suppose it’s okay, and all the best to you.

  • I as a kid thought Kick-Ass was good, so years later my dad asked what would be good for his new girlfriend’s children and I recommended it. I was later reminded that it has swearing about a few minutes in lol

Poor judgement on my part, but also, stigmatising everyday life and language is kinda problematic

Side note they were absolutely too young for a masturbation joke, but remember, that just means they wouldn’t understand it. Millions of family movies are designed to make adult jokes the kids don’t get, to keep the adults entertained.

  • Same happens opening Windows Task Manager, my older server rig used to lock up frequently, stalling programs like Home Assistant, and the only thing I had to do to fix it was remote in and open Task Manager. CPU usage dropped to between 70% and 30%.

This, incidentally, was why I was convinced I needed better hardware for a dedicated Proxmox rig. I was very wrong. With Windows, I can barely run three services (HA, AgentDVR, Emby) alongside their stupid NTFS scan and antivirus. With Proxmox I can run 20 services with no issue. CPU is usually 60%-70% with everything.
