Fact of the matter is we’ve been eating and pooping out seeds for the entire existence of our species and likely the entire existence of our mammalian lineage. We did evolve to eat fruit and they did evolve to be eaten by us.

We evolved to benefit from our own milk, too. Though only for the first year or so of life.

Actually lots of the plant parts we eat did evolve being eaten as part of the survival plan. Fruits disperse seeds and keep us less interested in eating more vital parts of the plant.

I’ve got ads and tracking pretty tamped down on my own devices, but it’s honestly terrifying how often when I hang out with friends who have non-FOSS phones or Windows running in the room that Amazon is later trying to sell me the topics of the conversations we were having. And it’s really hard to have a conversation with someone who isn’t as sensitive to this, to tell them that their devices and software are compromising my privacy, and to get them to understand that as the consent issue it truly is.

The devs of the OS spell it Endeavour. It’s one of those words that’s spelled slightly different in various parts of the English-speaking sphere. As it functions as a name here, I have no problem spelling it their way when referring to the OS.

It’s not hard if you’re into doing Linuxy stuff. A lot of new users are not, or find diving in too fast intimidating. Like it or not Arch is definitely in the deep end of the Linux pool.
