I joined Lemmy back in 2020 and have been using it as [email protected] until somewhere in 2023 when I switched to lemmy.world. I’m interested in systemd/Linux, FOSS, and Selfhosting.

I have to use Windows at work and I feel like a boomer since I haven’t used it since I was 14/15. I’m constantly looking up the most basic shit like how to overlay calendars in Outlook or change the orientation of a single page in Word.

Snap is also useful for server software and it can apparently be used for more low level things such as drivers. Still, it being properiatary is enough for me to avoid it completely.
Fun fact: there used to be an Authy flatpak that just installed the snap inside
