It turns out that most models make next to nothing. So there are some “whales” paying for porn but they probably have specific fetishes they are getting models to cater to via their money. So I think that’s the answer: men who either have a specific fetish, or their fetish is the attention they think their $50 a month is affording them. It’s like micro dosing a prostitute.
I imagine they use it for the same reason I use Patreon: if i like the content someone is producing, I would like to see them compensated for it.
