Thank you for the explanation! I never really watched the Olympics enough to see them firing guns. I would think all that high tech equipment counts as performance enhancement stuff which goes against the spirit of peak human based skill but maybe sports people who actually watch that stuff think differently about external augmentations in some cases.
Shooting with both eyes open is actually easier, your whole face is relaxed, and relaxation is key to accurate shooting. At least that’s what I was taught in the military

His shooting style is just more traditional while hers is more contemporary.
