Damn, that’s a name I haven’t heard in a while. I remember finding that early prototype video somewhere online in the pre-youtube days.
Really slow twist rate or smoothbore so they tumble too.

I never understood those, they just seem like pencils but with useless plastic waste
It lets the pencil stay the same length and not need a sharpener.
Mechanical pencils do a better job of both those things.
You’re not wrong. As soon as you lose one “round”, the entire pencil stops working.
