It is literally so cringe, I cannot stand to be associated with it, and I don’t understand how other people tolerate being associated with his antics.
By propagating the conspiracy theory that the far right problem in the west stems from Russia, you’re not just being western supremacist (as in “our problems must always be caused by some foreign nation”), you’re also obfuscating the very real material reasons why Europe and the US have a fascist problem, and that’s my issue with you. A more important question is, did you think critically about what you read. And compare it to actually historical outcomes. Not just take it as dogma. Last time I checked, infosec.pub was the only instance of any nontrivial size (319 users / month) that was defederated from lemmy.ml.
There’s a push recently on lemmy to make people think that .ml instance is unpopular, it’s user wrong and you should leave it or be ostracized.
